    METHEXIS
Art Competition — Scenographic Objects / Alphabet of Interaction
    Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2021

Methexis is a narrative and performative manifesto on the semantics of objects.

Conceived as an alphabet of interaction free from preconceived meanings, the project presents nine autonomous pieces: neutral objects capable of generating different spatial conditions — a platform, a hanger, a totem, a table or a stage for possible rituals and encounters.

The work is inspired, in part, by Werner Herzog’s Family Romance, LLC, filmed in Japan, and by the poetic image of the “wind phone”: a solitary telephone placed in the landscape, used to speak to someone who has been lost. Here, the object becomes both symbol and threshold — a silent device for memory, absence, communication and ritual.
